Structural Behavior of steel frame Infilled with Ferrocement Precast Panel S ubjected to Lateral Load

Background: When a severe earthquake ground motion hits the structure even if it doesn’t collapse may undergoes inelastic deformations. Steel infilled with precast panels becomes less efficient when subjected to large lateral loads like strong wind and earthquake. Hence assessment of actual performance steel frames provided infills in event is essential. Methods: In current study, prototype model frame size 4m x4m bay & height G+2 story scaled down seismic load by conducting shake table test assess modal frequencies, same modelled Hypermesh analyzed Nastran, ETABS software. The results obtained are validated for 16X16m commercial complex G+9 Multi-storeyed Ferrocement Precast analysed software base shear, response spectrum pushover analysis structure. Findings: frequency from was found be 45.21 Hz, storied ETABS, values frequency, point appreciable. Novelty: As per traditional design methods, structures designed forces than maximum considered overall safe panels. Advantages: as has benefit they slender structural view.
